Actions undertaken or planned:

  • Initial assessment of the client’s needs and requirement in terms of location (distance from CBD), land size, optical fiber availability and power supply
  • Identification of target locations and sites that meets the criteria of the strategic operator
  • For each target site: immediate market analysis and risk profile assessment, extension and development opportunity identification, value creation possibilities definition with step-by-step implementation plan
  • Comprehensive market study to identify demand and market depth in terms of data centres

Rocklane helped an institutional real estate investor review its debt-raising strategy and secure debt financing for the development of its shopping centre in Douala.

Actions undertaken:

  • Initial assessment of the client’s needs and objectives in terms of timing and amount for the debt component of the project
  • Identification of the strategic financing objectives, including the target capital structure, the financial flexibility, the liquidity cushion and fixed rate
